AsSalam Alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh. InshaAllah all is well with everyone. I have recently encountered some posts and questions about
"if I've been forgiven for a sin then why am I still being tested with hardships"
I found some information that might help you and bring some comfort to you as it has for me tremendously . Alhamdulillah
We may be being tested to further raise our status in the hereafter .
The servant will continue to be tried until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin. Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2398, Grade: Sahih

If Allah intends good for his servant, then he hastens the punishment for him in this world. If Allah intends evil for his servant, then he withholds punishment for his sins until he appears on the Day of Resurrection. In another narration, the Prophet said: Verily, with greater rewards come greater trials. Verily, when Allah loves a people he will test them. Whoever is pleased will be satisfied, and whoever is displeased will have indignation. Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2396, Grade: Hasan

Allah, may He be exalted, wants to raise in status the patient believer, so He tests him with calamity so that he will bear it acceptance and patience, then He will be given the reward of those who are patient in the Hereafter, and will be recorded with Allah as one of the victorious.
